This website is a tool for users whose departments are supported by University Business Services. Authorization to view visualizations is based on the department that funds your position. If your position is funded by a Dean/VP unit or you require access to view departments other than the funding department, please forward a request from the unit head (as shown in DEFINE GG5) to Lauren Wrather.

The log4j Vulnerability security threat has brought about tighter control over access to Tableau Visualization information. To connect to use these Tableau Visualizations, you will need to use a campus network connection. This connection can be acquired through network access points located throughout the campus or via the campus VPN services. If you do not have the VPN service and would like to install it, you’ll find the software located at https://vpn.utexas.edu/.

These visualizations provide departments the ability to view data by unit, subunit (if applicable) and budget code. All visualizations exclude 12, 32, 36 and 41 account types.

Year over Year Dashboards:

1. Budget
2. Expense
3. Income (object codes beginning with 3) Does not include income via transfers or appropriated funding.
4. Lapsed Salary (from departments to their respective VPs)

Comparison Dashboards: visualizations that compare this fiscal year to last fiscal year.

Free Balance Dashboards: visualizations that shows the budget, to date actuals, and the free balance.
