Johnathon Banks serves as the Senior IT Manager for Technology Resources, providing leadership and direction for the university’s technology operations and strategic initiatives. Since joining the university in February 2012, he has been instrumental in enhancing IT systems, improving service delivery, and supporting the technology needs of both academic and administrative departments.

Over the years, Johnathon has advanced through several key positions—including System Administrator, Senior Systems Administrator, and IT Manager—each expanding his expertise in infrastructure management, team leadership, and technology planning. His career reflects a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and aligning IT services with the university’s broader goals.

In his current role, Johnathon oversees a team of talented IT professionals and student staff, guiding projects that strengthen system reliability, network performance, and user experience. He works closely with campus leadership and external partners to ensure that Technology Resources remains adaptive, efficient, and forward-thinking in meeting the university’s evolving technology demands.
