Dear FBS,
It was wonderful to see some of you in-person at our first hybrid quarterly meeting! We are learning how to integrate all of the new skills we learned going fully remote with business as it was done before, and I am pleased with how well our staff have approached this. The new setup for hybrid meetings in FC1 is an impressive example of how Technology Resources is preparing FAS for our next steps.
As we approach the fiscal year end, our units are hard at work over the summer supporting all of FAS in completing appraisals, merit and budget planning, and preparation for FY 22-23 while also making sure all their other work is completed and units are in compliance with UT and state regulations. I am proud to see the three values of FBS being shown so regularly: compliance, service, and efficiency. I hope that amidst all of this, you are also able to take some time to use your leave and relax. Maintaining a work/life balance is critical to our mental health and helps us all with remaining motivated and energized.
