Dear FBS,
Thank you for all of your hard work! This is a busy time of year for many of us, completing critical work supporting FAS units as they navigate budgets, annual appraisals, and the merit process. As I shared in the Ask Tatiana session this week, the Bridge Program is also rolling out this month to address salary concerns for positions that are difficult to fill. Those increases will be shared once they are centrally approved.
As Austin relaxes COVID guidelines, we will work to meet as a unit in-person again. I loved seeing everyone who could attend our holiday event in December and look forward to our next opportunity to gather. FBS, per Darrell’s guidance, will continue in our current mode. We have proven that we can provide excellent service remotely for many positions. Your directors and I are proud to see all the innovations in the past two years. Information about vaccines and testing is available online, including how to pick up an at-home test kit or report a positive result.
If you have questions or suggestions, please email me or message me on Teams. If you have any questions you’d like answered, wish to spotlight and acknowledge a staff member, or stories you’d like to see in the newsletter, reach out to the committee. There are many ways to get involved, so I also encourage you to check out the FBS committees online and see if something sparks your interest. Keep up the excellent work!
Sincerely,
Tatiana
