Dear FBS,
By now, you have received messages regarding the IT organizational changes and Darrell’s departure. While we remain in a period of change, there are many opportunities on the horizon. I am pleased to share that Technology Resources will remain in the FBS portfolio. TRecs’ amazing work, especially in the desktop support space, is one of the reasons they were contemplated as part of the IT changes. Again, the work that you do matters and is recognized across campus.
In addition, FBS will continue to provide support to the former FAS units for the foreseeable future and provide broader support to these new organizations. The FBS leadership team has worked on a roadmap or the rest of the fiscal year and beyond to review and continue to improve our services. This is vital as we work with units outside the FAS portfolio. I look forward to meeting with you all soon during an “Ask Tatiana” session to provide updates and answer any questions that you have.
