Use a filter in Outlook to prevent invites from getting lost in the usual flood of inbox emails. For those of us inundated with tons of email, this great tip helps make sure the important meetings get through.

  1. Create a folder with a name like "01 Meeting Invites” or “~ Invites” (01 or ~ makes it show directly under the top-level Inbox).
  2. Create a Meeting Invites rule.
  3. Set the condition as "Type".
  4. Set the type as "Invitation".
  5. Set the action as "Move to" and the location "AAA Meeting Invites" (or what you named the folder).
  6. Save.

If the folder has a count in it, then you've received an invitation!
