At this time of year, many families enjoy the community experience of Halloween with its costumed fanfare and the time-honored tradition of sharing sweets with neighbors and friends. Longhorn Halloween is an event sponsored by the Office of the President and includes on-campus trick or treating, departmental booths with Fang-tastic Learning Opportunities, bounce houses, food trucks and various Halloween-themed activities. UT Staff, Faculty and Student families with children aged 13 and under are encouraged to don their costumes and enjoy the kid-friendly festivities.

Join in virtually by checking out the activities available online including:

  •  Tricks and Treats with Zoom backgrounds, a Spooky Playlist, and a Haunted Halloween Organ Concert.
  • Get your creativity going with Halloween-themed coloring pages, recipes, and crafts available to download on the Create and Decorate! website.
  • Listen to Original Halloween Stories read to you by UT Faculty and Staff and Share your best scary stories.
  • Plan for next year with a Longhorn Halloween departmental booth

We would love to see how much fun you had with your family. You can share your Longhorn Halloween experience on social media using #LonghornHalloween.
