Cilantro  

  • Plant seeds ½” deep in full sun. 

  • Plant in well-drained soil. 

  • For continuous harvest, plant each month. 

  • Harvest no more than 1/3 of leaves at a time. 

  • Use fresh or store by freezing in water or oil. 

Tomatoes 

  • Buy green plants that are 6-8” tall. 

  • Plant in raised beds of soil 6” high, make hole 3-4” deep and approximately 3 feet between each plant and 4 feet between rows. 

  • Place stakes or cages around the plant for added support. 

  • Water slowly and deeply. Don’t allow the plants to wilt. 

  • Harvest tomatoes when they reach full red color. 

Bell Peppers 

  • Buy plant that is 4-6” tall. 

  • Plant in well-drained soil. 

  • Place in location that gets 6+ hours of full sun. 

  • Plant in holes ¾” deep and 1.5ft apart in the row, with rows 3 feet apart. 

  • Water slow and deep; do not let wilt. 

  • Peppers should be ready after 8-10 weeks.
